Out of the mouths of Crowes.

Always drunk on Sunday
Paint a smile from ear to ear
Can’t you hear the sunrise crying?
Just a glimpse of what love could be.

Falling through liquid air with music everywhere
Find the beauty in the broken
Need no wing to set your mind to fly.

C-c-c-c-cold and kickin’
Hear the madam start bitchin’
See the noose still swinging
Don’t you wanna stare it cold?
I hide I seek and I find
Truth in a fable faith in a rhyme
If I believe all I see
I would hate to be around for the dawn.

For awhile I was kneeling in tears and powder
For as well I was strung out beyond my means
Set adrift on an ocean
Is the last place that love lives.

Take me home where I can dream my days away
I’m not running from anything
I’ve no past to hide
I’ve got no secrets haunting me
I just easy ride

Sleeping eyes sleep awhile
Too shy to hold in the rage
I got a head full of sermons and a mouth full of spiders
Feels so good it’s almost pain
Some like their water shallow
I like mine deep
Tied to the bottom with a noose around my feet

Sometimes a memory only sees what it wants to believe

What is a wasp without her sting?

I can’t seem to make hair nor hide of this
The scars I hide are now your business
Out your mouth a dictionary spouts about this and that
But it sounds like shit to me

I want to shine for you
I want to sparkle too
Just like a diamond cursed
If your rhythm ever falls out of time
You can bring it to me and I will make it alright.

I’m only halfway to everywhere
Windswept stars blink and smile
Horizon behind me no more pain

I see the forest for the trees

Learn or teach

I feel so alive today
That’s all that I wanted to say
I hope that it stays that way
If not, I will be okay.

A grace in a loveless time.

Thunder. Perfect. Mind

From thought to being,
 Reflection to reflected,
  to object. Thunder.

 Frame to break,
 to the thing itself.
And then dimensional, Perfect.

 Framed by the frame
of the window,
streaks of dirt, shadows of leaves--
 surface.

 I'm looking at.
 infinity.
 (mind.)
